Periods or menstruation is the regular discharge of blood from the inner lining of the uterus through the vagina. The periods usually start between twelve to fifteen years of age. They may start even earlier and be considered normal. Bleeding lasts for 2 to 7 days. This cycle comes every 28 days. Periods are the signs that the woman are all set to give birth. It is considered an essential biological process in any woman. However, periods are coupled with severe pain and some other problems. These problems are cramping, bloating, mood swings, lower back pain, headache, fatigue, heavy bleeding, etc. It is common during this period.
