Ginger is a flowering plant. It is mostly found in Southeast Asia. It adds flavour to cuisine. But it has many health benefits also. These benefits make it one of the healthiest spices on the earth. Ginger is closely related to turmeric, cardamom and galangal. Ginger is a part of the stem and is used as a spice.

Health Benefits of Ginger

Helpful in Nausea and Morning Sickness: Just 1 to 1.5 grams of consumption of ginger can helpful in nausea, especially after surgery, chemotherapy and also in morning sickness. However, more scientific research is needed in this regard.

Helpful in Weight Loss: It can play a major role in weight loss. It has been found that ginger supplement can significantly reduce body weight.  Taking ginger water or ginger powder can help in reducing body weight.
